The Real Reason I Spend So Much Time On My Own
How do you get to a point where you can go for dinner on your own? Go on holiday? For me it's not always been that straightforward...
Something fascinating to me is the fact that we come into this world on our own, and we leave on our own. We don’t take anyone with us, even if we do end our days alongside other people (probably in a hot air balloon, you know what they’re like.) Even if you’re one of the Octomom’s octuplets, you’ve come into this world on your own.

Not because we’ve been ostracised, or because we’re bad - not even because we’ve not got any friends. It’s usually because that’s just how life works doesn’t it? Take me right now. I’m sat in a coffee shop writing this newsletter. I don’t know anyone around me, so would you say that i’m alone? Sure, that seems to fit doesn’t it. I’m not literally alone but in the context of ‘who am I with?’, it’s no one.
