Do you like a good hike? Partial to a Jelly Baby? Well you’re in luck. A wonderful group of LGBTQ+ folk have organised a Walk n’ Talk at one of Scotland’s best spots - Arthur’s Seat. With spaces for LGBTQ+ people over the age of 16, as well as a special welcome to LGBTQ+ carers it’s a brilliant, free trip to meet like-minded folk and get your steps in.

Simon David - Dead Dad Show
Do you enjoy chaos? Simon David has got you sorted. Firmly in the meat of his UK tour, ahead of his run at this years Edinburgh Fringe, David is bringing his Dead Dad Show to Manchester and Newcastle. Inspired by his late father’s one man show, David’s offering has been described as a ‘sparkly campfest of a show’ by The Scotsman (whoever he is) and is sure to be a raucous 60 minutes wherever you catch it. It does also contain full frontal nudity, if that’s something you wish to observe with your eyes!
When?
Several dates over July and August, more information can be found here.
Eat Cute Queer Dating Supperclub
Perhaps one for the solo tripper who wants to push themselves out of their comfort zone, join chef Fatti and guest chef Katie Morgan as they create a four course dinner for you and a plethora of queer and polyamorous singles. Mingle and speed date around the room as you get to explore good food and new connection in a safe and (presumably deliciously aromatic) space. With space after dining to mingle and find out more about your dinner dates rising moon - you’ll be sure to leave fully satisfied.
When?
15th July, Restaurant 1883, Clapham, London

Brasserie Zedel and Crazy Coqs Cabaret
Obviously one for those who may enjoy something a little more adventurous than a night in with the Radio Times (me), why not take a delightful trip to Brasserie Zedel in Picadilly for dinner followed by a trip to the cabaret at Crazy Coqs. At the central London venue, every night offers a new delight on stage such as The French Magician and The Black Cat Cabaret, as well as exquisite interiors and french cuisine sure to enlighten even the most introverted of solo diners. Make sure to bring your opera gloves and binoculars.

Dean Atta Book Tour - Person Unlimited
Acclaimed author and general sweetheart Dean Atta is back on the road, speaking to audiences across the country after the release of his new book Person Unlimited. As always, Atta has created a beautifully healing and important piece of work for LGBTQ+ audiences - specifically for those who are black and brown. It takes a sincere level of vulnerability as a writer to put oneself so firmly into a book, and know that its reception is so out of your control. This courageous act is one we must show gratitude for, and celebrate, which you can do by visiting Atta on tour across the UK in cities such as Edinburgh, Durham, Birmingham and Brighton across July and August. Don’t forget to pick up a copy and get it signed by one of the best LGBTQ+ authors this country has to offer.
When?
Dean Atta’s tour continues across July and August, find out more here.
